The Ultimate Healthy Hotspot: Madam Woo

Madam Woo has just opened its fifth eatery, this time in my home-city, Christchurch!  I’ve never eaten at Madam Woo, but had heard only good things, so I was very excited to visit as soon as I could. Skinnier-Girl Margaritas (120 calories per drink!)

There’s a lot to love about margaritas; the tangy lemon, the salty rim, and frosty iced glass!  There’s only one big problem… a standard margarita can be up to 680 calories per drink.  When you put it like that, one margarita could be almost half of my daily calories, and a second round would almost take me right over my daily quota, so happy hour would have to be a hard NO for me! There’s something that I’ve always loved about lemon meringue pie! Perfectly paired sweet and tart, it is a dessert that I could eat a lot of, but don’t anymore as I work towards my weightloss goals.
